The hot water method took me back to my childhood dyeing projects, and this teal came out shockingly even with zero patchy spots on my cotton tote. I re-dyed a faded linen shirt too, and the color held through three washes already.
Used it to dip-dye an old cotton shirt and the teal came out shockingly even, no weird blotchy patches anywhere. The hot water method took a bit of patience but the color is so rich and permanent that it honestly looks store-bought now.
The hot water method felt a bit old-school, but the color payoff on my cotton tee was seriously impressive—deep, even teal with no patchy spots. I've already got a second project lined up.
