Dip dyeing a couple of old cotton tees with the hot water method was way easier than I expected, and the aqua shade turned out rich and even with zero blotches. The color seems to have soaked in properly on the natural fabric, which is exactly what I wanted.
The color came out exactly as vibrant as the aqua swatch promised, and the hot water method made the whole process foolproof. I dipped a pair of old white jeans and the shade is rich and even all the way down.
The hot water method gave me such even coverage on an old cotton blouse—no patchy spots at all, and the aqua shade came out exactly as deep as the bottle promised. I dipped the hem of a second shirt for a quick ombré effect and the color blended beautifully where it faded.
