I was nervous about dyeing shirts at home, but this pod was basically foolproof—just tossed it in and the fabric came out a perfect, even pink. Two large tees and a pair of shorts all took the color beautifully, and it hit that full 21-ounce mark without any patchy spots.
The color came out exactly like the petunia pink on the packaging and the pod handled my full load of four tees without any leftover residue. I was nervous about an uneven finish, but the fabric absorbed it completely in one cycle.
The pod dissolved completely in my washer and the pink came out exactly like the package showed, no blotches or streaks on my cotton tees. I dyed about four shirts in one load and they all took the color evenly, which is way better than the old bucket method I used to deal with.
