The matte finish is exactly what I wanted for my denim jacket, and the paint stays flexible after drying so the fabric doesn't stiffen up. Even after a wash cycle, there's no cracking or crumbling along the seam lines.
I’ve used a lot of fabric paints that turn stiff as cardboard, but this one dried soft and flexible, just like it promises. The 4-ounce bottle covered a whole pillowcase design with plenty left over, and the brush-on formula made detailing way easier than squeeze bottles.
The matte finish on this one is perfect for darker denim—it shows up as a true white without that glossy plastic look. I’ve washed the shirt I painted twice already and the paint stayed soft and flexible, no cracking at all.
