The matte black is properly opaque and the brush lets me get into tight corners without dragging the fabric underneath. Painted a pair of old jeans and the paint dried flexible enough that the denim still moves like normal.
I was worried the matte finish would stiffen the fabric, but the soft flex bond actually kept the shirt feeling wearable all day. A quick brush-on layer covered the design evenly, and even after a few washes it hasn't crumbled or cracked at all.
The paint went on smooth and dried with that soft, flexible feel the description promised—no stiff patches at all on my canvas tote. Still holding up fine after a wash, which honestly surprised me for a matte finish.
